Dances with Curtains are a duo that got together in their sophomore years in high school. The duo consists of Karac James, who is the lead singer and guitarist, and also Cody Watson, who is also a guitarist and in charge of the programming.
Karac and Cody began writing music together during their sophomore years in high school. The duo would play in talent shows and coffee houses. They used to make "terrible" recordings on iPads and thought they would be worth something someday. The guys work on solo projects often to keep their creativity differences separate but still are able to work together well.
The duo released their first EP this year called Break Those Chains which consists of four songs. After listening to the four songs, I got a good feeling about these guys and believe they will go far if they keep up with their writing and producing skills. The duo have a unique sound that truly shocks me. I have been listening to their EP on Spotify since I found out about them and I can't wait to see what they bring to the table next.
I can't wait to see how far these guys get in the future. I highly suggest them to anyone that's willing to listen to them because it is worth it!! My favourite song on the EP is "Echoes", it stands out to me and I can't figure out why.
