"Easy Strand" seemingly is similar, yet different from other music from Swimming Tapes. I can for sure hear some of their influences in their music. This song in particular has a beach vibe to it. It sounds like something I might hear in a summer romcom movie while the movie shows a montage of a couple on the beach. I personally think that's a good thing, whether or not they think so is a different story. I love romcoms and I think if a song can make me visualize something so specific, then it's a great thing. The vocals are soft and soothing. The vocals entice me to listen to more, pulling me into the song. His voice is smooth and pretty consistent, making me want to listen to more. The instrumentals flow well with the vocals, only adding more to the serenity I feel when listening to this song. The guitar is soft and lulling. The drums are steady and calm, nothing crazy or erratic. I truly love the soothing nature of the song. It's not something I listen to a lot of, but this is a song I can listen to and not get tired of it. The song also just makes me miss summer, which is odd since I don't even like summer. The fact that this song can make me miss something I don't even like is incredible. It's something that I want played during my romcom moments. I enjoy this song quite a bit in all honestly. Based of this song alone, I'm going to give them more of a listen and be adding them to my playlists. I definitely recommend these boys and their soothing tunes. Check them out and send them some love!
