Carrying Torches "Conversations" Single Review

Chicagoland-based rock band Carrying Torches released their latest single “Conversations” in March. Describing their style as electric heartland garage rock, Carrying Torches features the talent of Justin Daniel, Jon Paul Gray, Taylor Smith, Mike Bass, and Misty Okroi. “Conversations” explores the essence of value amidst life’s uncertainties and the pursuit of growth over beginnings. 

Opening with dynamic guitar and drums, emotive vocals come to the forefront. The chorus is catchy yet contemplative with candid lyrics backed by full, driving instrumentals. These elements build to a large, sweeping bridge that glides into a final chorus laced with dreamy synth. “Conversations” is a vibrant, captivating track.
