Chasing the Sunshine is a pop punk trio from Toronto, Canada. The band features Rostik (vocals/songwriter), Ryan (guitar/producer/secondary vocals), and Dave (drums). The band formed earlier this year in 2023 and takes inspiration from bands like All Time Low, Blink-182, and Machine Gun Kelly. Chasing the Sunshine invites you to listen and get a boost of optimism and joy from their music and shows.

The band’s single "Maybe" was released on July 14, 2023. "Maybe" is pop punk to its core. It's upbeat and poppy with killer punk-like instrumentals and vocals. If their goal was to make you feel good and energetic, it worked. The song has so much energy and spunk that you can't help but dance and feel good. Some of the guitar reminds me of the iconic Paramore, which showcases their talent. The lyrics are super catchy and fun as well. Just from a short time of listening I've got it down. "Maybe" is energetic and full of good vibes. It's bound to be a new addition to any pop punk lovers playlist.

Overall, "Maybe" is a fantastic single from Chasing the Sunshine. It fills you with good feelings and all the energy to dance around and yell with the band.
