Columbus, Ohio-based hard rock/metal band Faith in Failure recently dropped their latest single “Hero Pt. II.” The sequel to their 2019 single “Hero,” this 6+ minute killer features the band’s first full breakdown, a precursor of what’s to come in 2023. With sweeping guitar, mighty drums, and huge vocals, “Hero Pt. II” is a dark, epic track.
Even with an over six minute duration, “Hero Pt. II” never feels tedious. The pace is excellent, building each musical element from the ground up. By alternating between haunting metal screams and emotive rock vocals, enthralling guitar riffs, and a monstrous breakdown, this track stays fresh and interesting to its close. Faith in Failure creates a badass sound all their own, and we’re excited for future releases.
