Jasno "24 Hours To The End Of The World" Album Review

Written by Demi Marshall

Michigan-based alternative pop artist Jasno released his latest album 24 Hours To The End Of The World in October. Being a producer and multi-instrumentalist, he takes influence from just about every style of music. Since independently releasing his self-titled debut album in 2022 and signing with Kinda Cool Management, he’s been touring the Midwest and making new music. With a catchy, clean sound and range of alt/pop styles, 24 Hours To The End Of The World is an engaging, dynamic release.

Fusing intricate pop beats and alternative/rap style vocals, there’s something for every listener on this album. The first two tracks “No Shot” and “Merlot Mansion” remind me of early Twenty One Pilots with that rhythmic, hip hop vocal style. Songs like “Part II (feat. Jake Tyler)” and “Forever, Inc. (feat. Passed Out, Curbside) lean into an alternative rock style, featuring driving drums and wailing guitar. Jasno provides an expertly curated sampler of many musical styles on this album, so be sure to check it out at the links below.

Keep up with Jasno:
