Nora Marks "Museum Of Nothing" Single Review

Written by Demi Marshall

Chicago-based alternative rock/punk band Nora Marks released their latest single “Museum Of Nothing” in September. On the heels of their single “Old Magick,” the band continues to branch out their style with this release. Vocalist/guitarist Michael Garrity notes, “At the moment, we’re just experimenting with what is fun to play and expanding the limits of our comfort zone to shape or infuse our various influences into a cohesive sound that is all our own.”

“Museum Of Nothing” is a dynamic, layered track. With a riff-heavy chorus, impassioned, shouted punk vocals, and a driving rhythm section, the sound is engaging and full. The measured pace feels natural and deliberate, allowing time to appreciate these various elements at work. Nora Marks skillfully harnesses various musical styles, molding them to form a unique sound. As always, we look forward to how their

style will evolve on future releases.
