Artist of the Week: Our Century In Pictures- Heavy punk band from Warrenville, IL

Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, Our Century In Pictures features the talents of Nick, Thew, and Chase. This heavy punk band recently released their first single “If Only,” the final track off their upcoming EP. The band describes the song as, “[Incorporating] the full spectrum of everything we aim for when we create; writing something that is fun to play, fun to listen to, and on occasion reminds [us] exactly why [we’re] doing this.” OCIP is for fans of Green Day, Anti-Flag, and A Day To Remember.

Song of the Week: If Only- Our Century In Pictures

We’re featuring “If Only” as Song of the Week from OCIP’s anticipated EP. The band describes this single as, “A healthy mix of soft, emotional verses, overdriven chug-happy choruses, and drums that continuously get more intricate.” The beginning of this song reminds me of Green Day’s album “Dookie,” while the end features screaming reminiscent of A Day To Remember.
