Indiana-based punk band The Dispersion released their latest single “What I Want” on July 28th, 2023. This first single off the band’s upcoming album gives a glimpse into their new era. Abounding in angst and impassioned energy, “What I Want” is a fiery, unfaltering track.

The song kicks open with quick drums before cutting to low vocals and a steady beat. The chorus kicks up in energy, with fervent vocals backed by crashing drums and distorted guitar. The bridge features a heated, frantic instrumental break, accelerating into the final chorus. The Dispersion creates an intense punk-fueled sound on this track, and we look forward to their future releases.
