Chicago-based indie music project Winter TV recently dropped their latest single “Not My Day.” The project was created in 2022 by Danny Mulae when he began work on the self-titled EP with OK Cool’s Bridget Stiebris, who recorded and produced the record. Featuring soft vocals, dynamic guitar riffs, and subdued drums, “Not My Day” is a hazy, delicate track.
Something that’s particularly distinct about Winter TV’s tracks is the honest, authentic lyricism. Each line feels like peeking at a journal entry, or having a sincere conversation with a friend. These words carry the song, backed by light, swaying instrumentals. “Not My Day” is altogether pensive and universal, with something for every indie lover to enjoy.
